Hi everyone, this is Zena. It's been a while since my last update blog post. I've been doing pretty well, and I'm excited to share some of the things that have been happening in my life lately.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for all the support and encouragement I've received from you, my readers, during my absence. Your kind words and messages have meant the world to me. It's heartwarming to know that my content resonates with so many of you. I've been focusing on personal growth and exploring new avenues of self-discovery. I've been doing quite a lot of volunteer work in social media and Chinese American history, and it has been an incredibly fulfilling journey so far, allowing me to dive deeper into various topics that captivate me. On a personal note, I've been making an effort to prioritize self-care and well-being. Taking time for myself has been crucial in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While there have been plenty of positive experiences, I've also faced my fair share of challenges. Life has its way of throwing curveballs when we least expect them. However, I firmly believe that setbacks are opportunities in disguise. They have taught me valuable lessons, instilled resilience, and motivated me to keep pushing forward. Once again, thank you for your continued support. Remember, life is a beautiful journey, and we're all in this together. Let's embrace it with open hearts and curious minds. Sending you love and positivity, Zena Airale

Hi! It's been awhile since I've last posted something onto my blog. I'm happy to announce that I'm currently working on the second installment of my poetry collections! Currently, the working title is Beyond. This collection pays tribute to the many different fandoms that have inspired me over the years, and continues to explores themes of imagination, identity, and the search for meaning in a complex world.
I'm really excited about this project because it feels like a culmination of all my passions and interests. Writing poetry has always been a way for me to express myself and connect with others on a deeper level, and combining that with my love for various fandoms feels like the perfect match. It's definitely been a challenge to balance my writing with my other commitments, but I'm determined to make this collection the best it can be. I've been working on it for several weeks now, and I feel like I'm starting to hit my stride. I've been experimenting with different styles and formats, and I think readers will be pleasantly surprised by some of the unexpected twists and turns in the poems. One of the things that's been really important to me as I work on this collection is making sure that it's not just a celebration of fandoms, but also a way to explore deeper themes and issues. I want readers to be able to connect with the emotions and ideas behind the poems, even if they're not familiar with the specific shows, movies, or books that inspired them. To that end, I've been trying to make sure that each poem in the collection has its own unique voice and message. Some of them are more personal and introspective, while others are more fantastical and whimsical. But all of them, I hope, will speak to something universal and human. Overall, I'm just really grateful to be able to work on this project and share my poetry with the world. It's been a challenging and rewarding experience so far, and I can't wait to see where it takes me next. Hey everyone! It's been a little while since the last time I posted on my blog!
I'm happy to announce that my first poetry book is out, called Little Bits of Me, and should be coming to physical copies in a few days. Here's the synopsis: A series of poems encapsulating Zena's first twenty-one years, from the innocence of childhood to the pain of trauma. Her words capture the raw and intense emotions that arise while navigating love, loss, and the challenges of growing up. Through her artful expression, Zena invites readers to join her on a path of self-discovery, as she grapples with joys and sorrows, while still finding meaning and beauty in the midst of it all. Green is the sparkly energy orbs summoned by Ninjago’s chosen one. Green is the weeds that annoy gardeners to no end. Green is the short stickly grasses donning the lawn. Green is the webbed, holed leaves stretching over the trickling creek. Green is the plastic and metal accents on the playground, waiting for children to frolic atop them. Green is the long, thin leaves airily rustling as wind rushes past. Sometimes it's too much
Sometimes things scare me Sometimes... Sometimes... Sometimes... Clouds swirl in my mind It's like a tornado in there Sometimes I wonder if I'm home Sometimes I think things could be different If I'd lived in another time Another life I imagine myself...
As a young woman, Able to support myself Starting a family United in marriage Strong in my faith. I imagine myself... Doing what I love, Being independent, My own person, Sharing what I’ve learned. I was... Lively, Carefree, Joyful. I am... Empathetic, Kind, Supportive. I want to be... Independent, Hardworking, Happy with who I am: The person God means for me to be. And I’m loving every second of it. It's been awhile since I've done an update on my original story Operation: Respawn. I've recently gotten an Inkarnate account, and I finished a version of the map of Diyaura (which I plan to commission someone to create a more personalized version of later), shown below. Additionally, I'm four chapters into my first draft. I'm not sure yet how long I want to make the story, but I've been considering 23 chapters, as someone in the Ninjago fandom wrote a story that long. It's still quite early in the writing process, so it's still up in the air.
Hey everyone! We're finally taking auditions for the production team for Prosecution: The Animated Series, and I'm excited to see where the process leads me next. I've been chatting with SailTheMarigold, one of the Head Scriptwriters, and we've made a Casting Call Club page for the series!
https://www.castingcall.club/projects/prosecution-season-one I'm a big fan of Girls Make Games' The Negatives. I thought, 'since I've improved a lot in my graphic design skills, why not revamp the logo for the team?' and that's exactly what I did! And here's the old version for comparison:
They said women couldn’t change the world.
But we know our limits. And all of the world is our home. We’re here and not going anywhere So why not make the most of it. Some will stay in the shadows, While others reach out on their behalf And one day, if we work together We’ll find the light at the end of the cave They tried to stop us. To tell us that we couldn’t be what we wanted to be. But we are so much more than They ever could have imagined. And even when they did notice us, We didn’t back down. We stood together as one. So, for the past few years I've begun concepting an original novel and story based off my personal experiences, entitled Operation: Respawn.
Novel Synopsis: Eighteen-year-old video game fanatic Lana Mei's mother died only three years ago. Stricken with grief from the loss and feeling supposedly unwanted in her father's eyes, she tries to stay the trauma the only way she knows how: building her own world where she feels as if she truly belongs. Torn between two realities, her loyalties are tested, relationships are formed, and boundaries are broken. And I'm pleased to announce that the story has an official logo, as well as merchandizing! Merch can be found at this link, along with merchandise from other Raykazai Productions' projects: www.redbubble.com/people/RKZPOfficial/shop?anchor=profile&asc=u It's almost the end of the year, and I've been so grateful to meet the people that I have, especially SOTE, the person I founded Realm of Harmony with, as well as the people in my community, most of which are from the LEGO Ninjago fandom!
A little more than 4 years ago, I had the idea of starting Ninjago: The Musical. One thing led to another and going into the Ninjago fandom, I was not expecting to get where I am today, with many, many people becoming involved with the Realm of Harmony project as time went by. I'm still speechless that we got Deven involved in the Council Anthem, and possibly more to come! I still remember me and SOTE on a call when they revealed that he was going to join in, and we were freaking out. We also joined up our Ninjago Alternate Universes, and recently I made the decision to call back to some stories I wrote so, so many years back. We recently opened Realm of Harmony up to other fandoms besides Ninjago. Additionally, I was able to start expanding to original projects as well. From joining the metal band Krystal Kultists to starting Prosecution: The Animated Series, and continuing to write my original story Operation: Respawn. I'm so excited to see where this journey leads me next! Thank you again for supporting me in my ventures, and I hope you all have a restful holiday. Sincerely, Zena Airale It was majorly overhyped. A lot of the things that we thought would be significant ended up being throwaway gags or only mentioned a small duration of the time we thought it would be. It’s so cool to see the Overlord having an actual motivation to do the things he does, and I like him as a character a lot more because of it. I adore the callbacks to old soundtracks and seasons, and it doesn’t seem forced, considering it’s meant to be a wrapup of the entire saga. I sort of like Harumi; I like Cube’s headcanon regarding her being so used to abusing Lloyd she can’t do anything else. I thought it was cool how everything, including the devourer was tied back to the Overlord. The council is fun, I love their interactions, wish we got to see more of them though. The way that the citizens get crystalized is super creepy, and I like how dark they’re willing to go with all this. I love the dynamic between Lloyd and Garmadon, it doesn’t feel that rushed, and it pulls on my heartstrings like A LOT. I didn’t really like Garmadon’s fakeout death, although the scene was really emotional. It’s cool to see Skylor again. McBrag and Mayor Trustable can be a bit annoying at times, but they’re pretty entertaining. It was cool to see all the other allies returning. I wish we saw Lloyd use his Oni form more, or maybe even combining his powers with the dragon side of him, doing what the FSM couldn’t do, achieving the balance of both of his heritage. Overall, this season was enjoyable though, and I'm more interested over what the season implies for my stories.

Two minds created an idea... Yozakame noticed there were two types of Ninjago fans... The Creators, Artists, Writers, Memers, MOC-ists, etc... And the Leakers, Analyzers, Newscasters, and Discussers, etc... Yozakame and Zena Airale had the idea to create a Discord server to unite both sides of the fandom. Though the idea was in works for a while, it was in October of 2022, after the main saga had ended, that Zena decided to make the idea a reality. Introducing...
