Hi, I'm Zena Airale! I'm a neurodiverse Chinese-American, and Christian author, multimedia creator, and advocate for minorities in the business, media, and technology industries. More recently, I've also focused a lot of my activism on mental health and cybersecurity due to past traumatic events. On a lighter note, I also enjoy visual and performing arts, nature, and community service. I have way too many fandoms that I won't name ALL of them because of privacy (with some being more casual than others), but my current favorites are LEGO Ninjago (All time favorite, especially up to Crystalized), Dragon Ball, The Dragon Prince, DotA: Dragon's Blood, The Owl House (and Disney in general), Musical Theatre, Video Games, and Theme/Amusement Parks. I like to write stories, especially fanfiction about LEGO Ninjago, but also occasionally about other things that I like as well. Among other things, I also enjoy swimming, skiing, cooking, nature, arts and crafts, and I love to give back to my community through service. I'm enthusiastic about applying knowledge to multimedia production and editing in a way that benefits the community.
My love for multimedia started at a young age, combined with my appreciation for the lesser-appreciated individuals who work behind the scenes to make it all happen. I've always been fascinated with the way that technology can be used to connect people and share stories, and I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in this creative process. As an advocate for minorities in the business, media, and technology industries, I've worked to promote diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of these fields. I believe that representation is essential, and that everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in the stories and media that they consume. My activism for mental health and cybersecurity stems from personal experience with trauma. I've seen firsthand how important it is to prioritize mental wellness and to take steps to protect our online presence. I believe that these issues are often overlooked or dismissed, and that we need to work harder to promote awareness and resources for those who need it. Despite the heavy topics that I often focus on, I'm also a firm believer in the power of art and creativity to bring joy and inspiration to our lives. I love exploring new mediums and techniques, and I'm always eager to learn and grow in my craft. Whether it's through writing, music, or visual arts, I'm dedicated to using my skills to make a positive impact on the world around me. The greatest influence in my life is LEGO Ninjago. In 2017, I formed what would eventually become Realm of Harmony in 2022 with SOTE, a community of fans throughout all facets of the multimedia realm and beyond, creating fan tributes focusing majorly on the smaller niche fandoms (primarily Ninjago). As a sub-project for this, SOTE and I are also working together on an AU revolving around our OCs, the Preeminent and Overlord being sympathetic characters, and the First Spinjitzu Master's inner prejudices. We have our own website, and the AU—now turned into a multiverse—is called First Spinjitzu Master's Retribution and other people we've connected with are also part of this AU! I also created a megalink of a lot of the online communities revolving around Ninjago, linked here! As the end of the Ninjago main saga ended in late 2022, I started a Ninjago: Crystalized finale rewrite project with Jalen Pia (Co-Founder of Eternal Arts Studios) called Ninjago: Crystal Fragments (Currently postponed and on hold), which is similar in vein to projects such as Shingeki no Requiem/AoT Requiem, that we plan on animating as close to the show's animation style as possible. If we get far enough, we may end up doing a sequel series called Ninjago: Recourse, our take on a next-generation storyline, featuring both new and recurring characters. Additionally I've started to work on my own intellectual properties—starting a production team called Raykazai Productions, and writing poems (My first published book linked here)—taking influence from my life and the media I've grown to enjoy over the years. As an expansion of Raykazai Productions, my multimedia team and community, I have created a nonprofit foundation called the Raykazai Launchpad Foundation. Raykazai Launchpad Foundation is an organization meant to help startups grow and thrive. As I've been part of starting and maintaining multiple projects, the foundation is dedicated to helping startups grow in strength through their own efforts. RLF does all it can to give people opportunities to succeed in their careers and lives. One of the main reasons I started the Raykazai Launchpad Foundation is because I believe in the power of communities, mutual aid, and working together towards a common goal. When I was going through my own struggles, it was the support of my online community that helped me get through some of the toughest times. I wanted to create a space where people could come together to support each other and work towards achieving their goals. Whether it's providing resources and mentorship to young entrepreneurs or helping small businesses get off the ground, RLF is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. Through this, my journey revolving around multimedia, startups, and entrepreneurship has come full circle. Going forward, I'm interested in applying my studies (both academic and extracurricular) in Communications and Asian American History (specifically Chinese American). Feel free to contact me if you would like to work with me on projects related to this. I'd be more than happy to help. Overall, my journey has been one of self-discovery, growth, and perseverance. I've faced many challenges along the way, but I've learned to use those experiences as opportunities for growth and self-reflection. I'm excited to see where my journey will take me next, and I'm grateful for all the people who have supported me along the way. My passion for multimedia production, community service, mental health advocacy, and cybersecurity has led me down a path of creating and supporting projects that I'm truly proud of. Whether it's through my work with the Ninjago fandom or starting my own production team and nonprofit foundation, I've learned that the power of community and working towards a common goal can truly make a positive impact on the world. I'm excited to see where my journey takes me next, and I'm eager to continue exploring new opportunities for growth and learning. Whether it's through multimedia production, community service, or other avenues, I'm committed to making a positive impact on the world and helping others achieve their own goals and aspirations. Thank you for supporting me on this journey and thank you to all of the communities and organizations for giving me a chance to make something out of my creative abilities in the areas I love so much. |
